The City of Savannah is seeking proposals from consultants to assist city staff in the preparation of a Flood Mitigation Plan, Repetitive Loss Area analysis, and Natural Floodplain Functions Plan. The plan will have to be approved by FEMA. Consultants seeking to submit a proposal need to register on the City of Savannah's website. The request for proposal can be viewed on the purchasing portion of the city's website, under event number 1824.
Looking to get your CFM certification? The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is proctoring a CFM exam on Novembee 12th at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in the City of Forsyth. The DNR will host a refresher course from 8AM - 12PM, and the exam will run from 1PM - 4PM. Applicants must register with ASFPM. Space is limited.
